So, not so long ago i got a new Asus G752vm (GC006D).
And so far i'm really happy with it.
One thing i'm thinking about is upgrading the memory from 8 to 16gb.
What memory would you recommend?
My eyes are set on a Kingston HyperX Impact but i'm not quite sure
what speed i should get it in: 2133Mhz or 2400?

Thanks for the link @Faberge.
It seems that 2400MHz is the way to go, however i don't want to remove the current memory,
because then i would have to open up the laptop to get access to it.

So i'm still looking for someone to confirm it. Thank you!

Well, its pretty easy to disassemble the G752 series notebooks, just check the videoguides about it in the internet. Its not like Macs which all are tight on space and with plenty of cunning connections beneath. I have opened mine already after more than a year of usage, just to remove all the dust from the fans and make a little check-up.

2400 is the limit, Ive proven that one myself.

If you dont want to open it up your best bet is to download, install and run hwinfo.
With this get the memory info, it will give you the actual part number. Then order up the Samsung or Hynix memory to match. FYI Hynix=Korean made Samsung.

Oh, really, Hynix memory is made in Korea, while original Samsung is from China? Curious, what were their intentions to do so? A bit offtopic, just to note they do not distiguish in the same way their SSD's, PRO series are made in Korea as well, but they still go as Samsung 950/960 PRO.

My current memory is not a samsung, but rather Micron Technology.
My memory part number is 8ATF1G64HZ-2G3B1
