G751 External Battery (connect another g751 oem battery pack in parallel?)

Hello, i was wondering if i can extend the battery life of my g751 if i connect another g751 oem battery pack in parallel with the one inside my g751 directly. Will that increase my time? Will it charge correctly having two separate charge circuits in both batteries? Thanks

Bad idea IMHO. It will probably not increase any life time. In fact in case of failure of one battery it can badly impact the second one IMHO. Also since the batteries are going to be connected in parallel... the PSU probably will not be able to charge it 100% full... what is a VERY bad idea for Lit-Ion cells... Since they like to operate and to be stored fully charged.

Lit-Ions do not like discharging so AVOID it and work using PSU connected. Do not "format" Lit-Ions... since discharging to 0-15% is spoiling this type of cells.

So in fact you probably will decrease the life time of both batteries if you will connect them without more powerful PSU charging.
