Upgrading to Ryzen and have a few questions

    Hi all.

As the title says, I am kicking around upgrading to Ryzen. I am planning on using this board but after doing a lot of reading here.....I don't really want to say I am getting worried about my choice.....but I kinda am lol

Processor wise I still haven't settled on which one. Eather the 1600x or the 1700x.
My main concern is regarding the memory speed issues but I am also scratching my head a bit about driver availability as well.

Driver wise, I plan on staying with my current win 8.1. Looking on the download page, I see drivers for 7 and 10 but none for 8?

For the memory, I planned on Ripjaws v 3200. This set https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...82E16820231977 I don't really have plans on OCing at the moment but probably will at some point.

With all the posts I see about bios and speed issues, would anyone have any thoughts or concerns on getting this memory running at "stock" 3200 speed?

    Thanks

Thanks. I was actually looking at those as well. I haven't actually bought anything yet but I might actually go with them. I'm hoping to get everything sorted and ready before I spend the money and take my current setup apart
