Awesome, just contacted them I hope the header is longer so I can do the same. The under the armour is such a pain in the arse.

They must have had a bad batch if everyone's blue is failing.

2X 850 pro ssd in raid 0 for op sys win 10 pro fc update
    360 rad
    Titan x Maxwell - temporary

Had to install windows twice - clean install - had weird problems with glitches on opening apps - especially edge.
Not sure if I have set bios right - not using xmp for my 4x4Gb gskill ram - using manual and put timings in.

Problem is that turbo is not boosting to more than 3.9Ghz maximum - yet temps are not over mid fifties at worst.
Do I have to have turbo 3 driver installed? Not too keen on it as it comes up at each boot.
Have updated bios to 1004, now having difficulty accessing bios - many times it wont go in too bios with del/F2 key, yet keyboard and mose work fine in windows.

Can you guys suggest anything - show me where I am going wrong? Never had any of these issues with X99 Rive and 5960X??????

Thanks in advance guys - at the moment I am very disappointed considering the cost of all this.

    Edit:
Also having weird problems with installing drivers - message comes up saying drivers are not for this os - wtf?
I wonder if this is because I downloaded 64 bit win 10 pro, but English version - would this perhaps cause a problem for installing drivers??

To get Turbo boosting properly, in bios for CPU Core Ratio select 'By Specific Core'. You can leave settings on Auto to start with. Install the Turbo 3.0 driver. This should boost certain cores. Check with System Information Viewer SIV program to see what is going on.

I am using the GB ver. of Win 10 x64, and drivers load ok. After win 10 install let Microsoft do any driver updates: this may take some time working in the background. Reboot when all done making sure to check all system updates. Then use the Asus driver install disk to fill in any updated or missing drivers.

Me personally I would like this off, but I can't uninstall it. I try and it comes right back. I have all cores synced to the same and every time I boot up, turbo boost comes up. Rather annoying.

On the Apex VI under cpu power management you can use the setting MFC override or native OS i think it is. When I set it to native OS and uninstall Turbo boost driver it is gone and does not come back with windows update.

Here's a proper way to disable the TB3 service (with device driver intact).
    1. RIght-click on the tray icon, and disable it.
    2. Open Task Scheduler and disable Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0
    3. Open Command Prompt and type “sc config ITBMService start= disabled”
    4. Reboot.

you can then delete the software normally.

additionally, if you are experiencing very high latencies and slow desktop responsiveness, try disabling the HPET from within windows:
Open a cmnd prompt or powershell and type:
    bcdedit /set useplatformclock false
    hit return and reboot.

Thanks for the info but I can't find it in the Task Scheduler. (NM FOUND IT)

I'm not sure I want to disable HPET as I do watch/create a tonne of videos and I have heard that it can hurt the synchronization.

Thanks kindly for the advice - if I still have problems installing drivers I will do yet another fresh install, and not install any drivers until windows is updated, and go from there.

I've not experienced video/audio compression becoming asynchronous ... but ya never know until ya try.

.. to enable HPET it's the same command but change "false" to "true".

If you go by core then you dont get all cores boosted, only two. Kind of defeats the purpose of having 10+ cores.

Ive not personally had any issue whatsoever installing drivers.

Also check your power profile and see what you get. I have TB enabled, power profile set to balanced. BIOS set to synch cores and adaptive voltage. For light tasks I stay at 1200MHz on all cores with Vcore of .770V. Go to heavy load and they all come right up to my OC setting of 4.8GHz with Vcore of 1.225

Good points - agree totally. My rig seems to have settled down now, and behaving. Currently running at 4.2Ghz on all cores, but a bit toasty when I ran realbecnh.
Think I have a very average chip, and so will have to go the delid route soon.
