You might want to check what's happening to the CPU frequency with those settings.

It's not going anywhere near that for 247 use, just seeing what it wil bench at the moment.

Is the safe limit for these still 1.40 or less for max and 1.25 for daily use(vCore)?

I guess I am not far off the limit of the VRM in terms of temps, as I am not running a Monoblock

It was more of a case of what happens if I use a 50 multiplier and a 1.375 vCore and what the temps would be like, there is a lot more tweaking to be done.

    What are these two items??

Hey Raja or anyone else, can you tell me what these are for?

Looking in the manual I have and online I'm not seeing anything for these two items on the motherboard. The top is a three pin, almost looks like a jumper. The second looks like a USB connection that is reversed with the missing pin on the bottom left rather than the bottom right.

One of them is labeled BIOS_Select. I know older models had a jumper you needed to use to go between the dual BIOS and you just moved the jumper, but there is no jumper here and there is a button for that. It also doesn't say what the lower pins are for.
Any idea what these are for?

Brighttail - All in the manual.

The connector is one of 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 connectors. See page 1-19 in manual.

The other is a jumper and it looks like yours is missing the jumper. Instructions on page 1-15 for LN2 Mode. My jumper came with default of disable.

I must have an older manual. The USB 3.1 Gen one is the 19 pin connector to the left of this. I have looked on page 1-19 and it shows the 19 pin to the left of what I'm describing. In my manual there is a blank area for the items I'm talking about. You can see what I mean with these two pictures. It does say BIOS_Select under the three pin and on page 1-15 the LN jumper is to the left just above the RGB header you can see it in the second picture. What I'm seeing to the right of the 19pin USB 3.1 Gen 1 connector is NOT in the manual that i have.

The one that appears to be a USB 2.0 with the missing pin in the inverse position was identified as a tech service port in the past and more recently on some other boards. I don't see why that would change.

I was wondering if it was a service port of some sort. The Bios_select really looks like the old Rampage IV that you had to jumper to change between BIOS.

I just hate not knowing what something is.

OK! I see what you mean the U31G1_E34 refers to the pin set to its left but there is a set of pins above which are not shown in the manual. The 3 pins above those have this written below them in very small print "BIOS SELECT"
