Lets hope for an other version which is cooling this chip too *
I highly doubt that there will be a block that will include cooling the 10G chip. The block would have to snake around the RAM. My guess is if they decide to do help us cool the 10G it will be a little heatsink that will be attached and separate from the monoblock.

I hope that they can colab with Asus to include the stock I/O cover without the heatpipe so it fits but keep the 10g heatsink. Worst come to worst I will pry out the heatpipe from the stock cover and use it with the block and then just buy another cover from Asus if I need to revert the board to stock.

Do you think there is a chance they could somehow integrate a heatpipe into their solution? Perhaps they could rest a flat heatpipe on the capicators next to the vrm, and snake it over to the Aquantia. The waterblock could be designed to make flat contact with the heatpipe.

While I doubt they will do this, would it be a viable solution?

I think it would be an ugly solution. A heat pipe curving from the top left up, over the RAM area, around them and then down to the Chip. You can't go around the lower part of the RAM without bumping into the GPU in slot one. The upper way might interfere with some fan solutions.

I was thinking of following the same path as the current heatpipe. *Why would it be any uglier or interfere more than the current heatpipe?

I keep looking at a specific red box in that photo, instead of looking at der8auer ;-)

I think der8auer needs to replace his ThinkPad with an Asus ROG Chimera, yes?

You got any more information about a release date Raja? Would make the waiting a bit more 'doable'
