Don’t hold your breath for awhile. The company is owned by orthodox Jewish folks and right now two weeks back to back they are closed lock stock and barrel from sundown Tuesday to sundown Saturday. Great company with great pricing but their religious activities often curtail a good bit of business. Can’t even place an order online and have it go into a hold state. They just have it sit in your cart until the religious commerce freeze is lifted. Not knocking their religion, to each his own. My wife works as an operations manager for a similar company (that says a lot about her as women never hold an executive position is such companies) and she gets off for all the Jewish holidays but has to take personal days for Christmas.*

You don’t have to commit to the preorder. Keep searching googling “Asus rampage VI Extreme then click the shopping tab up top and check the vendors. I was doing it nearly hourly until I Walmart popped up out of nowhere and I jumped on it. *They were sold out in a few hours. I then simply canceled my preorder with B&H. No billing had occurred as they hadn’t shipped.**

Can some test this who has a SLI set up.
The GPU 1 card is reading as GPU 2 and GPU1 as GPU 2 in the Nvidia control panel also with MSI afterburner.

I was wondering if there will be a guide for this board similar to the one Shamino put together for the RIVE. It really helped with overclocking.

You are not the first to see this but the guy who asked about it was told by ASUS that it was an NVIDIA problem and was told by NVIDIA that it was an ASUS problem.

I am going to add a second GPU when the prices settle, which may never happen!

I honestly don't care what they are seen as so long as they work. So you count bottom to top instead or stand on your head.

The prices haven't settled on the 1080s even after the 1080 Ti. They may drop a bit when the Volta hits the stage but not by much, just enough to take it out of the top spot. Example the GTX 980 Ti is still fetching $650 when its been topped twice already. The Titan pricing is what is laughable. They are still selling the older original titans for a premium even though the 1080Ti bests it and the Titan XP that arguably tops the 1080 Ti by like 3% on the reference model (Thats $200 per point!), cant find a comparison to something like the Strix 1080 Ti OC edition or Zotac amp extreme. Looking up reviews between the two they are neck and neck and which one takes the other by only a few percent varies from review to review and is in the margin of error.

on a positive note....Happiness is........seeing the phrase "On FedEx truck for delivery" Ill have my RVIE today and will start with the Box top testing of the MOBO two 1080 Ti s before I put water blocks on them and 7900X with Corsair dominator 3800 Mhz 8x8 kit. After its up and running with everything verified as operational build will commence.

    Heads up for Evryone
Before you start up for the first time check all the switches.
Someone found it hilarious Im sure to turn off all the PCIE switches, Turn on the service switch and turn on pause mode.
This left me pulling hair for a good 30 minutes until I looked down and saw the PCIE were off and the service switch was on. Then continued and still no post. Thats when i looked again and the pause switch was on. I was trying different display options, changing from display port to HDMI and different connections on the two cards, then pulled one card out and still nada. I was about to start pulling ram modules when I saw the PCIE switches.

Also don't freak out when you put the USB drive in with all the drivers on it and see that is says the disk is empty. They have it as hidden and mounted so it launches as a CD rom.

Windows is loaded, drivers loaded. Latest Nvidia drivers and running windows update now.

Yeah I couldn't get it to mount period. When I did a check on properties, It showed like 14 kb used, 8gb free or something like that. Good call on checking the switches ...
