I would assume it is finalized if they are supposed to make it available in the next month. Shipping the boards I am assuming takes a month or so if they are by boat. Perhaps bios updates or improvements.

YES. Now the board has the new VRM heatsink with slots just like the APEX. I can't see any other changes!

Would one of those fit over the VRM heatsink? It looks very close in size to a RAM slot.

Would the RGB work with AURA or just be set to one color?

RVIE and RVIA pre-order and approximate US pricing.

The extreme is around $620 and the Apex is around $500. I recommend if you want one, go ahead and pre-order it I have used this site before, they are legit and ship fast once in stock and they do not charge you until they ship it. So if some other place has them in stock earlier,or better priced you wont lose any money and can easily cancel.

    I'm really confused....I don't know what to choose for my i9 7900X :|

Apex - not top mobo but with better options for OC

    vs

Extreme - top mobo with nice design and features but probably with worse OC (8+4 PIN)

    Thx Asus ^^

8+4 pin gives you at least 450W of power that's more than enough for an overclocked 7900X.

Nice find! They currently list the Rampage VI Apex at $409. Hmm seems low. I wonder if they would honor their pre-order prices they have listed if there is a change.

    Edit:

Here is the answer about their pre-orders:

While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of pricing displayed on our website, pricing is not guaranteed and submission of your order does not bind us to honor published pricing. Additionally, pricing and ETA's for pre-ordered items are not guaranteed and subject to change at any time. If pricing on your order is found to be incorrect or has changed, we will notify you by email and your order will be halted. Your credit card will not be charged and no funds will be accepted or collected. You will be under no obligation whatsoever to purchase the item at the current price. Pricing discrepancies on our site will be corrected the same business day they are discovered

I thought most modern psu could deliver almost 400w over a single 8 pin eps. At least that is what wendal from level 1 tech stated.... I would love more clarity on this. I believe that 250w is feom older tech.... anyone have any more info?
