It was just that you never replied back with specific explanations to all the previous "when" and "why" release date inquiries that many people made on this thread in July and August, so we all wondered and speculated for two months.

I did notice that you previously mentioned the armor was having "low yields" and Kris Huang mentioned in the KitGuru video that the armor was the cause of the delay. I am also glad that it seemed like Asus increased the armor's trace line RGB lighting intensity compared to the mobo that was displayed at Computex.

And yes, the yields were very low due to the spluttering tech not depositing in uniform manner. Had to get that sorted before we could ramp production.

I am very pleased to know that ASUS production of the R6E is now officially "ramped".

All jokes aside I think we are all very lucky to have Raja who gives us very timely and honest feedback whenever possible. Other Hardware providers should take notice.

Did anyone else receive an automated order status update from EK this morning?

I received an automated order update this morning from EK saying that my order was now in "Processing", and is "estimated" to be delivered tomorrow:

Order Date: September 18, 2017
Estimated Delivery Date: 29 September 2017
Shipping Method: DHL Economy tracking

It is still in "Processing" right now and no DHL tracking number has been issued yet. So I will believe the Sep 29 Estimated Delivery Date when I see that it has been shipped. Otherwise, I suppose that it could be an inaccurate delivery date estimate. But it is odd that the "Estimated Delivery Date" was not there yesterday when I checked my order. My EK orders always use the cheapest DHL shipping and they travel from Slovenia through Germany to the U.S.

I ordered three EK R6E clear-nickel monoblocks along with a third CoolStream XE 360 rad and Revo D5 pump/res for the third R6E mobo build. I always split up my EK orders to stay well under the $800 customs duty-free exemption.

EK updated their R6E monoblock Installation Manual yesterday to also mention an included Aquantia 10G chip heatsink. On their "Revision 2.0. Published on September 27th 2017" updated manual, check out "STEP 3.1: PLACING THE HEATSINK ON TO MOTHERBOARD (only for RAMPAGE)":

Step 3 mentions placing the thicker 2mm thermal pad on the Aquantia chip. So EK's replacement heatsink uses the same two screw holes used by the original I/O cover heatsink.

If anyone from EK happens to be lurking on this thread, thanks for including the heatsink!

EK really stepped up to finish this and make it right. As we have said, the solution is quite simple with a thermal pad and a small heatsink with two holes, so it would not have made any sense for EK not to do it.

I haven't received any notification saying it was on its way. Still showing Oct 2 as when it will be released.
