    Formula VIII error code 02

Hi all im just wanting to know if anyone has any ideas at what be causing this LED 02 error code i get when i boot my pc and it just idles.
This does not happen all the time but a quick reset and it boots into windows no problem.

I have searched the net to see if anyone else has problems and i have made sure all the power cables were seated properly on the PSU and pc parts.
I have taken out my ram and swapped positions. Also tired using only two sticks instead of 4 with both sets.
I recently changed to sleeve cabling so replaced all of the PSU cabling.

Now scratching my head as to what it could be and if it is actually the motherboard?

    Thanks

    Hi HUMDINGA

Try clearing the cmos and/or updating the bios.

In this thread the cause was the psu.

Is the psu in this thread too.

    Here it was the motherboard.

You could try the original psu cables.

    Hi Nate

Did the cmos and bios is up to date seemed to be working fine for the past few days but its happening again.

Have switched back to original psu cables and still its persisting so i might end up contacting asus support and see what they recommend.

    Thanks for the reply
