Lightbulb New Ryzen 5 1600x-based PC Build Experiencing Issues

Anyone have any issues with spiking up to like 1.4v-1.5v on idle and stuttering under load on stock settings with the Ryzen 1600x?

I've recently updated my bios to 0902 and realized that the timing controls are a bit crazy. in 0809 for the DOCP profile of my RAM, the tRC_SM value will be set at 51, but I'd manually set it to 56 as the RAM manufacturer mentioned. in 0902, the auto-value for tRC_SM becomes 63.
So, I think we need to check those details where it went wrong or changed.

Another thing i observed is that in 0809, if i set the RAM frequency to 2933 (or anything higher than 2666), it won't even boot until i set the vRAM to 1.5v. But in 0902, the system boots with RAM frequency 2933 MHz, vCC_SOC 1.1v, and vRAM 1.45v. Even though it is not stable (crashes after 20 mins or so in Prime95), i think it is somewhat improving.

I have an R5 1600X as well and I to have these spikes up to 1.45V idle and when booting into windows (10). The are alright and it´s simply the part of of Ryzen/AM4 is designed , have I read at AMD´s forum and here. The stuttering might be memory related it seems it´s very sensitive regarding this. I just changed the power plan in windows from "balanced" to High Performance" and the voltage became more stable.

And now a wish: I would love the possibility of power on the computer by pressing a key on my keyboard, hope that comes in a BIOS update

    coldboot issues with RAM overclocking

So, I've got this MB with Ryzen 1600 and a pair of G.Skill TridentZ 3000Mhz CL16 8GB RAMs (16GB kit). I OC the RAMs using DOCP profile, 2933 MHz @ 1.5v VRAM. With the latest 0902 bios, the cold boots always make the PC posted into Safe mode POST. It forced me to goes into UEFI settings and make changes. Yap, I don't have anything to change. I just get out of the UEFI without saving and then it would boot into the OS. This issue is very seldom with previous bios versions, but very persistent with 0902. And happens only if i OC the RAM. the issue doesn't occur if I run the RAMs at default 2133Mhz speed.

have anyone got similar issue? pls let me know how can i resolve it or whether I need to RMA the board.

Have you tried to set SOC voltage higher? up to 1.1V should be fine , I have mine at 1.05V so far (still fine tuning the system).
Have you tried to apply more Voltage to the memory? 1.35V is fine (even 1.45-1,5V should be OK for years) mine is default 1.2V but I have set them to 1.285V.
Are your memory on the motherboards QVL list? Mine is not but I still have the opportunity to choose an DOCP profile in bios, which is stable with my memory´s highest default settings (2800MHz) . I can even OC to 2933 with lower timings but with raised voltage .

Cool RYZEN 1600X , after exiting the sleep mode, the voltage on the processor decreases

    Good Day!

    RYZEN 1600X, MOBO ASUS STRIX B350-F Gaming, BIOS 0902 , 3.8Ggz , OS - Win 8.1 Pro

Bios settings: CPU Core, Manual Offset "-" 0.05

After start computer CPU Voltage is 1.35 . Its normal (BIOS settings works)

After exiting the sleep mode, the voltage on the processor decreases to 1.31and is at this level

Who faced the similar? Why decrease voltage and why it does not rise again?

    tnx )

I'm running the 1001bios with 1800x and g.skill 3200cl14 ram. Just overclockers to 4.125ghz processor. 3333mhz ram 14.14.14.34 at 1.35v. Very happy with stability so far. Haven’t even tried to push it yet. In hw monitor has gone to 4.213ghz all 16cores under load. [emoji16]

3333mhz Ram not stable... Doh. 4.5ghz processor stable.
Cannot get the Ram stable over 3200mhz.
