So, when I first bought this laptop, I decided to not get it with the SSD installed, huge mistake, I hate the HDD in this thing. So today I went out and bought a Samsung 960 evo 500gb m.2 SSD and I want to install it tonight, but I have a few questions. I found a reddit thread that was helpful, but I was wondering if there was another guide to it. So I want to put in the SSD and make it the main boot drive, but I also want a clean install of windows. Is there a way to do that and to validate it without buying a new copy? When installing windows on the SSD, do I need to take out the HDD first, then access the bios and switch the boot before I reinstall it (after it's been wiped)? I haven't seen anymore threads asking quite the same question, but If I missed them, please correct me on it.
