Question after enable XMP - what to choose?

Hi,

when i enable XMP in the Bios (Maximus IX hero), i get the question (look Attachment/Image) and i have no idear what the difference is between "Yes" and "No".

What settings are effected, what should i choose?

I DONT want to overclock my CPU, i just want to use the XMP for my memory!

Can anybody explain the question and what settings are effected when pressing Yes or No?

XMP option only affect the Memory frequency ,when pressing Yes

But what happens when i press "no"?
XMP seem to bee still activted...

Exactly what it says, enhanced (or tighter secondary) timings, which may or may not work without additional tuning of some voltages depending on what memory modules you have and the quality of your CPU memory controller.
It will not hurt anything to try YES, if the system does not start and run stable reboot to bios and check default auto setting for memory and then check XMP and NO
