    Asus GL552VW-CN104T screen smudge issues.

    Hi everyone,

So I bought this Asus ROG laptop a bit over one year ago, but the last month I have a problem with my screen. I get this smudge on my screen, which is easy to wipe away. However, the next day it returns in a slightly different place. It keeps reappearing, and over the last month it has also increased in size a little bit.

    Here are some pictures:

Does anybody know what to do against this?

    Thanks in advance!

sounds like a small gap has opened up between the LCD module and the cover, which is creating an air pocket.

    still in warranty = RMA

not in warranty = ASUS can repair it, but they will charge you for it

Okay thanks! Seems like I have to contact the Dutch Asus Tech Support to see what's possible and if I still have warrenty.

In that case, I may end up being the one to check your unit
