So if you are running a similar setup and manage to clock it to 3.9 ghz, for example with a base clock > 100 mhz, and it boots back into bios... Check your disks and you'll notice the m.2 drive isn't showing up. (or it isn't for me, at least.)
Exactly my problem as well. Anything higher than nearly vanilla base clk results in a deactivated m.2 slot. Thx to pstate OC the 2.2 bug can be avoided - but I hear the recent bios updates provide a feasable fix as well ;D

Any idea why the m.2 slot deactivates? Seems strange to me.

BCLK changes the PCIe frequency. Many SSDs don't like running past 100 MHz.

Yesterday I just installed a 1600x with my new C6H motherboard, and immediately ran into this 2.2ghz in win 10 bug. Updated to the latest (1403) bios before booting into Windows. For me it is reproduceable, simply by trying to OC the processor to 4.0ghz. No matter what type of vcore I use, auto/manual/offset, it will only show 2.2 in Windows. When I use P state OC, it shows the proper speed in Windows, assuming I use auto or offset vcore.

EDIT: noticed the updates later in the thread about beta bios to fix this issue, will try them out tomorrow!

I am having this same 2.2 GHZ issue, but I have a Ryzen 7 1800X. No matter what I do in BIOS, CPU-Z only see's it as a multiplier of 22. Is there a fix?

I have R7 1800X, not stuck at 2.2GHz, are you at stock or doing a PState OC? explain more on what your settings are.

I have 32GB of Vengence 3200 MHZ Ram- 4-8GB sticks using profile DHC 5,

Multiplier is set at 40- 4000 MHz, CPU voltage Offset .03750 Gigi level 2, soc voltage manual 1.117.

I tried it with the p-state instead of the multiplier as well as the blk bus instead. With the blk bus, the pc would not boot with it set over 102.

    Thanks *

To give an update, I read online that changing the voltage to auto from Offset could fix this. I did just that, changed the voltage to Auto, and now CPU-Z is reading the multiplier at 40 and speed at 4.0ghz. I don't want to leave the voltage on Auto. Before I had an Offset of 0.3750 and it was set at level one in the Gigi control screen. Any idea how to fix this and what the voltage should be set at?

    Thanks*

    I use offset mode.

In this thread, section FAQ > Setting up PState 0 OC on C6H is how I have OC'd several R7 1700 and 1x 1800X.
