    Case front usb 3.0 ports

    I was wondering if the cable to the front usb 3.0 ports can be plugged into the onboard usb 3.1 header on the mb? my case is the fractal design define r5 2x usb 3.0 2x usb 2.0 on front. Thanks

    Put the USB 3 header to it's slot and USB 2 cord right next to it leftside.

    Sorry I don't know what you mean its been years since I built a pc and that was using amd ath xp lol. Thanks for replying and helping me.

    Edit: I found the usb 3.0 header on the board now ignore my stupidity lol and thanks again

    3.1 and 3.0 motherboard connectors are completely different.
