I have one and have owned it for around a month. I had to undervolt and if I manually turn the fans up to 100% in the ROG app, and turn on my laptop cooling pad I keep it under 90c. It gets hot, I think that is normal and to be expected from these laptops. But, I enjoy it and haven't had any issues with throttling. I believe Intel says it won't throttle under 100c, and the gpu stays a bit cooler.

I've been pulling up reviews of the KabyLake GL702VS and reading all of them.
According to the reviews:
- No*report of the battery discharge during heavy usage on AC power.
- There are reports of GPU throttling due to thermal constraints.

I'm still waiting for a reply from ASUS on how they are handling the GL502VS RMA/service issue. I'm not feeling confident on their communication so far, but we'll see. If I need to I'll sell my GL502VS privately and never touch another ASUS product again.
