Please help me Set my new Ram clocks and frequency speeds!

Asus tech support said that my problem was an overclocking issue and the only thing they could do was to send me to the ROG overclocking forum.

So here goes.

I have an i7 Sandybridge 2600k @3.6ghz , P8B75-V Motherboard and 32GB 2133 Corsair Vengeance Pro.

I have set up the BIOS correctly with the right settings. When I boot windows 10 the frequency is still at 1333 and the clock timings are all wrong too.
Asus said that my motherboard doesnt support windows 10 (Which I thought was odd as that is precisely what im using, other specialists I have consulted also thought this).

So Asus have sent me here as they don't deal with overclocking and they said the only way to get the correct frequencies was to come here.

Please help

SandyBridge is still a very capable system, at the time it was introduced Windows 8 was the newest operating system but if you go to the support page for this board they do have Win 10 drivers available so that is a non issue.
Looking at the manual for this board there does not appear to be an XMP setting unless a later bios enabled this function, so as you say I guess you must enter the speed manually and save and reboot
I noticed on the QVL list is 2133 2x4 GB 8 GB total, so 4x8 GB 32 Gb total may be difficult or even possible but I do not know for sure, unless someone familiar with this board comes and helps all I can suggest is searching through the forums for post on similar systems , or possibly purchasing a used Maximus 5 board which is much more capable

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply.

It is XMP enabled even before I updated the BIOS.

I have tried to change the values manually. Within the BIOS itself, everything appears to be as it should. But when windows loads up, I'm at 1333 and 9-9-9-24 again.
I saw somebody suggested that the full 2333 was only achievable by upping the voltage. I am somewhat reluctant to tinker too much without a professional opinion from somebody with experience.

So I'm understanding this a lot better now.

The Ram is working fine and it is running at the default settings which are 1333 9-9-9-24. Because my processor isn't 3rd or 4th gen, it means that I won't be able to get it to run at the higher frequency and latency.

I've been looking at the 4790k, not sure which motherboard yet. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Will it be easy to transplant everything? And more importantly : will I have to reinstall Windows 10 and all of my programs...(Thats the last thing I want to do)

That makes sense
Personally I would look for any ROG board, hero, Formula, Extreme but I prefer the top of the line myself
