"ASRock do NOT recommend updating this BIOS if Pinnacle, Raven or Summit Ridge CPU is being used on your system."
Definitely something to be aware of. The Asus release note makes no such comment though.

Weird, after Bios update the CPU speed is 3.59GHz instead of 3.6 and ram 15.9GB instead of 16GB in Windows 10.
Also Cinebench20 score went down from 3655 to 3515.
I have Ryzen 5 3600.

Latest AMD chipset driver incorporates a workaround for the destiny 2 problem, which I can confirm now works fine on my system.
If you do install the latest chipset driver though note that the latest version of the Ryzen balanced power plan sets the minimum CPU power state at 99% resulting in elevated clocks and temps while sitting at the desktop etc. Just change that parameter in the power plan to 0% (same as it was on the previous version) and temps and clock speeds at idle return to normal.

No warning would be a huge oversight, they would have some angry customers.
But in any case, I took a look earlier at the new bios with UBU, and it showed the same microcode version for Zen1 (00800F11), so I assume it still supports all Zen.
CPU's with updated microcode relative to 5008 were (cpuid):
00800F82 -> Pinnacle Ridge
00800F12 -> Epyc 1xxx
00810F10 -> Mobile 2xxx (Raven Ridge)
00810F81 -> Picasso
00870F10 -> Matisse
^Trying to give accurate info on the ID's , heh

High voltages
I have a 3600 and with 5204 if I leave everything on Auto and PBO and Core Performance Boost enabled, I get an all core boost voltage of 1.42 and on light loads it even reaches 1.48v. Even if I apply a -100mv offset the all core boost still runs at 1.37v, and applying anymore negative offset makes my system crash. I learned that the maximum safe all-core boost should only be 1.325v, but there's no way I can achieve that.
For Zen 2 owners of B350 - What are your all core voltages and how did you achieve it?

I'm currently running R 5 3600 on B350-F Bios 5008, everything on default values in the bios other than my ram DOCP/XMP profile. Individual core voltages vary between around 0.918 - 1.417. When I started running the latest chipset driver with my current bios my 3600 was always boosting to around 4.1-4.2ghz and pulling in around 1.38-1.41v. All I had to do to lower this was change the minimum CPU state in the Ryzen balanced power plan to 0%. This had no effect at all to 3D Mark benchmark results and I have much better idle temps/voltages now.
I think it's pretty well known now that offsets are not only not necessary, they in fact negatively effect performance and/or stability. Take a look here for recent updates from AMD: https://community.amd.com/community/gaming/blog/2019/07

Are those all core boost numbers? Because again, on the linked reddit post it says that the max voltage for all core boost is just around 1.325. And discussion around electromigration scares me as it is a gradual degradation of the cpu and might die earlier than expected. With such high voltage, sure it might be running well right now but will it run the same a year from now?
Here's the reddit post again: https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comment...en_2_is_1325v/
