asus what is wrong with you? QT your stuff before releasing. if you need a tester, let me know.

also my flarex 3200 are now stucked at 2666. this is a joke compared to my msi b350 mate.
lan drivers do notget an update either. they are not to shabby, but could be better.

overclocking is also a no go with my 1600 on this board/bios. or do they need to update occt test mark to suite this product? running 4.5.1. will freeze the pc when going over 3.4ghz. on water. something really went wrong with this product. first time after 15 years i bought asus. now i wish i had sticked with gb or msi, like in the years before.

in my humble opinion, that asus hype turns out to be fake news for me ^^
You expressed my sentiments exactly. For a Strix board, this one seems to be a dud, one can only assume, when one sees the hype an paid for promotions. The support is shocking and the BIOS revisions are badly lacking QC.
My personal opinion is that Asus may just not afford the AMD support one should expect. Could it be that Asus is being influenced by Intel ? I would hope not, but I don't put anything past Intel anymore. It would be sad day if an OEM is being manipulated by one of the CPU manufacturers.
If one looks at the range of boards and support for AMD products, then one has to wonder where the sentiments are.
But who am I. Also been a MSI MB user for years and their BIOS support was astonishing if and when a valid bug was raised. The beta BIOS provisioning works well through their forum.
Sad to see that this board, which rang all the right bells turns out to be mucked up by shabby BIOS support. Not exemplary and not in line with the Asus "reputation".

After the reboot i updated from 3803 to 3805.

No issues like 3803. System runs fine without problems. My FlareX runs with 3200MHz CL14.

I`m also back to 3401 again.
Yes, with 3805 i had no issuses a few days but than all my games crashing randomly again like 3803.
I think with Ryzen 1 the 3401 ist the last BIOS that we should use.
In the future i don`t buy an ASUS Board.

I was planning to switch however after very extensive googling for last few months there is not a single board out there in this prize range for 1st gen ryzen which is perfect. Previously planning for Aorus Gaming 5 but is is not flawless at all. So changed my mind again. It is mainly this new architecture causing board partners to troubleshoot all issues properly. However new ryzen refreshed cpus seems more promising.
However all issues that I have faced earlier with this board are gone with 3805 bios update. It is not that great board from Asus and their reputation is under question but from customer point of view it is hard to find a better one right now.

Updated to 4009 a few hours ago and from what I can tell so far,

-RAM and CPU are still stable with voltages and settings used in 3805
    -Updated to Agesa 1002a
-Three new options under AMD CBS

Stability is more or less the same as 3805

Something strange I noticed was that the Realtek HD Audio manager pops up randomly asking me to confirm what device I plugged in when I haven't plugged anything in. This only happens whenever memtest is around 20% coverage (Might be just me)

22x Multiplier bug with BIOS version 3805

I've read it's still quite a common problem particularly those with 1600 and 1600x processors regardless if it's x370 or B350 series. The problem persists when the multiplier is manually changed from Auto to xx multiplier and rest remains auto. I've changed my power plan to high performance, installed necessary drivers from asus support site including amd chipset which has the Ryzen power plan. Currently having to use AMD Ryzen Master for overclocking which is ok but isn't a long term solution. Anyone have any suggestions that I've missed? thanks.

Apologies if this counts as hijacking a thread.

    Specifications:

    AMD Ryzen 1600x
    ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING
    8GB Corsair 2400Mhz DDR4
    Nvidia Asus 1070 8GB
    Samsung Evo 850
    Corsair 650w
