    new bios

my memory latency went from 78 to 84 with the new bios in the aida64 cache and memory test , and i still cant have an stable system with my geil evo x memory at 3200mhz so still stuck at 3066 either than that increase in latency i dont notice any difference with this bios ,
and one more thing i wanted to downgrade my bios to 1001 but i couldnt and got some message like your bios file isnt correct .

    Some fixes for B350-F woes

I have had this motherboard for just over a week. You can see my posts on here:
    https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...l=1#post687552

and a thread I started over at tenforums:
    https://www.tenforums.com/bsod-crash...tes-later.html

It has been challenging, but hopefully my pains and the fixes I have come to find will help others.

Now my question is this: is anyone else running a NZXT Kraken x52 on their board? How/where did you plug the AIO pump connection onto the motherboard? What BIOS settings did you change? Just curious. At the moment, I have the pump plugged into the CPU Fan header or else the system wont start because it doesnt detect a CPU HSF being used. Which isnt a big issue, but it makes the AIO header pointless.

If it is possible to check your setup with a different ryzen cpu just to confirm if it is dependent on CPU? Becs, I have gone through some post where it is mentioned that the high ram speed (2933 and above) depends on CPU for ryzen due to its internal IMC. I have a same issue and I can not hit 3200 on FlareX but none of my friend has ryzen so I can not test it. If it is true then there is no way with any bios for my system to reach 3200.

Guys it will be better to wait for a next issue fix/improved stability bios release because this bios is designed only to support ryzen upcoming apus and I am dam sure that there will be issues. So for those who have already installed it pls share your reviews and for others if not facing any major issue pls wait for next iteration. However this new bios has fixed multiplier issue in X370 Prime mobo as per a overclock.net forum.

And regarding 3200 support for those who still struggling to reach more than 3066 there will not be any hope not becs of the asus but becs of the cpu. Guys pls correct me if I am wrong with some solid evidence.

I think I found the solution for the Wraith RGB cooler not working properly and fading to red then dying despite the other RGB working perfectly.

Turn your fan profile up from silent.

After doing this the wraith rgb worked perfectly (except of course for the swapped colours that I needed to match by swapping pins on my light strip attached to the other header.)

But yeah, it was great after taking the fans off the automatic silent mode. Even going in and manually setting the fans speeds lower to the point where they were silent didn't cause the problem to re-occur it only seems to happen with the automatic silent mode.

It seems to be the old black screen issue that many other have faced with this board including me. just flush latest bios, I would suggest to try 1001 or its predecessor. Remove all monitoring software including AI suite and your NZXT cam for the pump. Without cam your pump should work fine if connected in the AIO pump header of this mobo. Test your setup if black screen is happening or not. It is possible due to some conflict with multiple monitoring sw and specially aura as well (remove it). If it solves your issue then install one after another and use one monitoring for your gpu and another for cpu and other. Don't use more than that for now.

Just to add, I have also tested with corsair link and latest bios (0811 and later) + hw info + asus gpu tweak = no problem
What I have found is that 2 or more sw collecting data from this mobo causes issue that days but not any more for me. Previously Aura Temp LED option also causing black screen but it has been resolved with new aura and bios.
Please do remove all asus sw just to follow rule of elimination.

    CPU overvoltage fixed

I would like to report that the issue I had previously where my CPU was overvolting between 1.38 - 1.42 on it's own is no longer there. It wasn't a big deal for me because I would have over volted to that to get my OC to work anyways whereas before I simply left it at default and upped my multiplier. Now I actually have to offset it. I would also like to point out that the issue i faced before (this is my major issue) where I find it diffficult to get into the BIOS appears to still be there. I rebooted a couple of times yesterday and I either got black screen or it went straight to windows log in.

Nothing changed with 3203, just another bios for me. Still 3200 on flarex not working most of the time. For my 1600x cpu voltage spikes are there up to 1.50v but I don't care because I am running my usual oc of 38.5x at 1.35v achieved through same -ve offset of 0.0250.

I'm with 1600X and I have the same spikes ti 1,519v on stock.
So I overclocked to 39x, bios 1001, with offset at - 0,0250. I tried to - 0,0375, it was stable 2 or 3 days but Windows jammed once.
But if I load CPU Load line Calibration from Auto to Regular - I must add offset + 0,0250 to power my computer.
    What is the best:
    - 0,0250v offset and CPU LLC to Auto or
+ 0,0250v offset and CPU LLC to Regular for exemple for 24/7?
I still read spikes in the two ways but not more than 1,45v. It must be better than 1,519 om stock.

Almost same with my results on my 1600x. It has a threshold at 38.5x where I can supply minimum voltage to the cpu. My setting,
    38.5x, 1.375 - 0.0250 = 1.350v, LCC & LCC for SoC both regular.

I would recommend you to set LLC to regular, turn CPB off, set multiplier to 38.5x and voltage as 1.375 default - 0.0250 offset = 1.350 and test your oc. If found stable try to reduce voltage if it is stable. My cpu requires a significant bump in voltage if I cross 38.5x. Just 39.0x requires 1.375+0.0250 = 1.40 to be stable.
There is no spike for my system and I think you will not get any voltage spike if you follow these steps. Don't use auto LLC for oc. It might push a bit higher voltage than actually required. Start with regular LLC always. Purpose of LLC is to address less vdroop i.e the voltage drop that may cause unstable oc. But if it remains stable don't push this setting too much.
