CPU is a 1600 running at stock speed, just loaded the bios "optimized settings" .

I have always used DOCP but with this bios PUBG and Prime95 won't run for 5 minutes before crashing.

Unfortunately I can't remember my previous BIOS version.

    Just a heads up.

jdont use docp, punch in manualy 2933, 1.35V, 14,14,14,14,32,45, cpu on auto should boost to 3,7 with good cooling, you can try to rise the fid to 148 what will gice you 3,7ghz, dont change the voltage leave all on auto, should be occt stable
    good luck

    Thanks in advance

use hwinfo, start the prog look in the summary if amd-v is red or green, turn iommu on turn enable svm mode. virtual. is a pain on amd most of the time, even with epic. good luck trying ^^

ps update your bios to 4011

One problem here, 4011 bios, I am getting unstable message in IBT only if I on docp. It is also giving error at old trusted 3066 docp even I pus 1.38 volt. CPU oc is ok. It seems in this new bios flareX needs some tweak to work. Which I don't like to do for minimal performance increase.

Switched back to trusted 3805 Biso and yes the EZ Flash is not locked to reject older bios flash. SO you can switch back to 3805 nice and easy. Again everything is working fine. No more bios update for me unless some drastic change happens.

dont use docp, punch in manualy 2933, 1.35V, 14,14,14,14,32,45 leave the rest on auto

use occt set to medium or large to test stability

see how it goes, are you using 4x8gb ram sticks ?

Does that mean you could roll back to 3401 from 4011 directly then? If that is the case I might give the new bios a try. I doubt it it's going to be better than 3401 for Ryzen 1xxx, but I want to get my memory from 3066 with cl16 to 3200Mhz with cl16 (with 3401 it bootloops).

there is no way, at least for me, to get my flarex stable 3200, since bios 0401. b350 boards are good to go up to 2933, everything else is not stabe cause of the layer structure of these boards. at least thats what amd says. check https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3200c14d-16gfx to find out for yourself. the gb board is the only one b350 supporting 3200mhz. if you plan on stable oc you mem get a 370/470 board. for me it has been a pain, oc my mem. i stick to jedec 2400 since. dosent make any difference at all in day to day use. not even in games. only aida64 shows different numbers in memory speeds, thats it. for stability tests i recommend occt 4.5.1 on medium maybe small settings. you will quickly find out how stable the oc is ^^ in games, just try bf4 to see what happends with your oc. like i said, im so feed up with it that i only usw 2400 stock for a while now. in the future when b450 comes out and supports my flarex i will switch boards. maybe.

my problem with this board is with CPU vcore voltage, regardless of BIOS version but since 3401(on 4011 now) my LPX 3000 Mhz 2*4Gb kit is running stable "OC" @3200 DOCP (16-17-17-35 @1.35v, SOC @1.1v)...in your case with the FlareX, and maybe others, the tight timings might be the issue, your kit being cl14, the memory controller, motherboard vrm, or f**k knows what doesn`t "like" that, and needs more volts or maybe loosening the timings a bit more will help, plus if you`re not using DOCP the SOC voltage might be too low, in my case if I don`t use DOCP, the stock SOC voltage stays at 0.9v, and system is unstable...you could also give this a try http://www.overclock.net/forum/13-am...-dram-am4.html ...didn`t take the time to read all your posts so if you already tried all this sorry...good luck

.been there, done this .. all ;-) but thx anyway !
it has something to do with the layers on the pcb. i think there are 4 insted of 6 like the 370ties got. on the b350's they cant transpot the mhz frequency proper.
did you try occt 4.5.1 for 1h+ on medium or high without any errors ?
    my regards
