ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate
AMD Ryzen R7 2700X
VENGEANCE® LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3466MHz C16 Memory Kit - Black

The change was worth it, but despite this yet much ASUS I have a product in a usage.
CPU All Core Boosted (Default) 4.35GHz
RAM 3466MHz (Default XMP 2.0)
I am very satisfied and Asus ROG GTX 980Ti Matrix Platinum VGA I hope for it yet FHD will serve it until a piece / under 120Hz (55" UHD TV)

Hello, new here, but my build has, for the past few months been totally unable to overclock without the 1.55 Ghz glitch.
I'm on the most recent BIOS.
I've tried the BIOS directly.
I've tried Ryzen Master.
I've tried ASUS AI suite.
I've tried the AI overclocker.
Nothing has worked. Even the tiniest of multiplier bumps gives me the glitch. At this point I'm wondering if I just have a defective part? Temps have been excellent, nothing's overheating.
Full specs:
Asus B-350-F ROG Strix
Ryzen 1600
Gskill Trident Z RGB 16 GB 3000
Coolermaster MA410P
Asus RX580 Strix x2
WD NVMe SSD
2x 2TB HDD

At this point literally any new ideas or suggestions would be welcome.

install the latest chipset drivers --> 18.10.0601 from the amd web side, change your power profile to amd/ryzen. use the fid setting in the bios to oc for example 148= 3,7ghz leave everything else on auto, disable core performance boost, set global c-state to enabled, deinstall all monitor and oc windows tools, get all win10 updates, see how it goes ^^

What's he mean 1.55 Ghz glitch? Never heard of it. Also why tell him to set global c-state to enabled?

when i disable it for example i get problems with my snooze modus and the pc wont go to sleep or not wake up. also its good when not using all power to manage heat and power consumption aso. also prevents it from switching on/off

What MSI board are you looking at? Maybe ASUS will do an update soon? So far the overclock I established with your help has been running stable, spent hours gaming no issues however I never tried OC the RAM because I have 32gb and think it would be to confusing.

When you use this method, does your core freq and core voltage both drop to idle when there is no load?

New Audio and Lan drivers are up so fingers crossed a new bios is soon

As an update I am not so sure the lan driver is the correct one for this board, it advises you uninstall the old which I did and then restarted but the installer for the new ones does not do anything when you try to launch it, so i downloaded the last good drivers and they installed fine i then tried to manually update the driver through windows devices and it did not recognize any newer drivers in the supposedly new driver folder, this looks like another case of some idiot at asus putting the wrong driver up yet again like what happened with that USB driver that took them nearly 6 months to take down, I am now unsure if i should even bother trying the new audio driver.......

Don't install either of those just an advice. I tried them and they don't work properly. Audio driver messed everything up and new versions of Sonic software were really bad.
