Thanks for the advice. As per my research the Strix X470 model has much better reputation for the ram part. I have gone through Guru3D, VorteZ, overclock3d and some good youtube reviews and all are saying great for this mobo. Can hit 3400+ with Ryzen+ and 3200 for Ryzen. Now I know for 1600x it is also dependent on the IMC. May be my CPU has problem to handle 3200Mhz ram and it will be clear with this new mobo. Searched many RAM configuration and found this board is listed for my super expensive FlareX Kit as well. For the B450 part it is less likely that it will provide good support for 3200 dimms just like the B350 (rarely found any B350 board with official ram support of 3200Mhz).
Just to know where you have seen this X470 has RAM issues?
Actually I don't like the MSI that much just my problem (biased nothing else) and I am also bit angry on Asus+AM4 and want to check if it is this board only or Asus has become a Crap now a days. If this goes wrong, then it will be my last Asus board for sure. And it seems my purchase decision of the supremely overprice RAM is the key issue here. If I selected the 2400/2666 model then I could be happy with this mobo! may be....Last edited by AniChatt; 06-02-2018 at 07:34 AM.

Anybody trying to stress test the RAM to know if it is stable or not, there is a Dang Wang version of HCI Memtest which is really good and it is being used by G.Skill for their OC stability test. Here,
http://www.gskill.us/forum/forum/gen...clocking-tools
I have tested my 3200 profile for 4x8GB where it has shown error after 116% or something coverage. Then I removed two sticks and run this test again with 2x8GB 3200 XMP profile of my RAM. Now stability has improved but guess what it is not stable and the program showed one error at 286% coverage. As per G.Skill screenshot it is supposed to run at least 350%+ coverage to declare your RAM OC is stable for regular use.
Tested with Manually typing timing and ProcODT 48, 1T, 1.37v etc. What I have found is increasing the RAM voltage does not have any impact on the stability. Something else causing this issue. And finally 3200Mhz for FlareX is not officially supported in this mobo as well. So if you are super lucky to get a silicon lottery and you CPU IMC can handle great memory OC then only you can achieve 3200+ with Ryzen 1xxx series on this board. So for fast RAM it is advisable to avoid this B350 lineup.
Just to check if anyone is using a 2xxx series Ryzen with Samsung B-die on this mobo request him to check with this super easy program to test your stability and share the results for us. Since the Ryzen+ has better IMC there is a good chance it can run just fine.Last edited by AniChatt; 06-03-2018 at 09:38 AM.

Cannot even get past 2400Mhz@CL15 on B350-F and Ryzen 2600, i did get 2733@CL14 stable on Ryzen 1700X on pre-Pinnacle Ridge BIOS.
I did test with 1700X and newer bioses and it didnt even budge above stock 2133 on 1700X so something is just very wrong with this board.
My memory is one of those Corsair 2x4GB 3000 15/17/17/17 kits so im quite shure its not Samsung B-die.
Maybe i need try 3805 bios to see if this Pinnacle Ridge cpu has any issues with it. Currently have bios 4011 in.
If that does not work maybe time to downgrade to MSI X470, yes downgrade.
--------
Update :
3805 bios + R5 2600, memory went to 2800 with 400% coverage on Dang Wang HCI MemTest
Hopefully i can get 3000 working now with this bios.Last edited by Ferocis; 06-04-2018 at 03:30 PM.

Ok guys it is definitely a note worthy improvement for me. My Strix X470 working at default DOCP with flareX kit at rated CL14 latency 1.35 volt. Tested with memtest dang wang version 2.5 400%+
However 4x8GB default docp giving few errors and I think it can be fixed (some hope since the older board was not that close). Right now I am using it in 2x8GB config. May update you later. However it seems at default this new board yields a bit less CB R15 result than B350. Almost a 50 pints dip which I don't know why. May be it is doing something more in background which I need to figure out. No problem so far and the VRMs are significantly cooler due to much higher phase.
For the MSI boards, it has slightly inferior VRM than this and this X470 lies just below the crosshair on the vrm part but better than prime X470.
Fingers crossed

Is there any rumours about new BIOS version in nearest time?
I still have an issue with abnormal value on CPU Diode sensor.

Hey all. I'm having issues with my build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ycrWcY (2400G, B350-F Gaming, & Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory). The issues I'm getting is BSOD when playing games (TDR Video Failure). I had the same issue with my last B350-F Gaming motherboard and 2400G CPU when playing games as well as browsing YouTube. I swapped both for the same exchange and now I only get BSOD when gaming. BIOS is currently at 3803. The first time I had the motherboard it was at 4011 until I replaced it thinking something was wrong with my motherboard. This time I didn't update the BIOS. Can someone help me with this issue? This is at default stocks. Nothing changed in the motherboard.
