Software requirements: AI Suite 3 and ROG Armoury.

Supported products: All ASUS and ROG motherboards with Intel 100 series chipset or later are supported. For AMD support, only Crosshair VI Hero and ROG Zenith Extreme (X399) are confirmed to be supported.

Both AI Suite 3 and ROG Armory need to be running in the background. This feature utilizes the shortcut function from Fan Xpert, allowing users to control fans that are connected to a compatible ASUS motherboard. There are 4 modes in Fan Xpert: Silent, Standard, Turbo, and Full Speed.

    Fan- (-)
Pressing the Fn + Fan- (“-” key) will switch to the previous profile in Fan Xpert (Ex. If the current profile is ‘Full speed’ mode then it will change it to the previous profile, which is ‘Turbo’ mode).

    Fan+ (=)
Pressing the Fn + Fan+ (“=” key) will switch to the next profile in Fan Xpert (Ex. If the current profile is ‘Silent’ mode, then the next profile will be ‘Standard’ mode).
