i am really curious on every single entry of your bios settings... but i'm not sure even if i saw it, i would be of any help :/

edit: ok wtheck, if i can't help you, someone else here could.
would you please be so kind as to upload screenshots of your bios entries for us to see?

and there's a way to capture nice screenshots in bios:
    - use a FAT32 formatted usb stick, jam it in a usb port.
    - go into bios, to the page where you want to screenshot, hit F12.
    - once you go back to windows, you can edit them BMP files as you like.
    - resave as JPG or PNG to shrink their sizes down, and you can post them here.

i was taught this on this forum too, the same method was used to capture screenshot for you.

I can't really help you with anything more I'm afraid... Raja@ASUS is the main BIOS/Motherboard guy.

There is a way to export your settings as an .xml or .ini file, not that I know how.

I think it's going to be something like:

    - power settings
    - PCI-E lanes settings

that is causing all your issues.

Maybe Haihane will be able to help you more if you can post screenshots/ini/xml file

Thanks for all the help, I ran out of time yesterday had to run out and go to work.. but ill post some screenshots l before I go to work again tomorrow. its such an stupid problem. I wish it was not this hard, guess thats my fault for using server class GPU. Ill post my screen shots then contact that guy and see if he can help. I mean these cards are mostly just a 7990 with a few tweaks so I don't see how they are making this much trouble. again thanks for the help.*

can i take this chance to learn how to dump bios settings into a XML file?
that'd make my life much easier than having to write them down individually.

Hay sorry I've not posted back works been kicking my butt. I have taken the screen shots but keep forgetting to being the drive with me before I head out to work.

But Asus have been trying to help me solve this problem. they suggested to Boot with the GO button and then save and exit the bios, (not like i have not tried that) when I had the Nvidia card and the AMD card in it seems to work...... but if i change the bios setting even changing the full screen logo then it fails to boot. this is a problem as when i press the Go button it disables lots of things like usb ports and lan.

No while I have flashed the bios a few times trying out new and old bios versions so could it now be the board is screen or the Bios chip needs replacing? the bios chips are cheep enough to replace so I am going to order one but I'm also going to order a new motherboard. though what one I'm not sure of yet. Maybe a new AM3+ board or a 1150 board. though I'm still up for help here to fix it rather not have to buy more than I need. I will have some other s10000 soon enough to try other ones of them, but still think its the motherboards problem.

this is a server card but as i said before why would this not work its a PCIE and based on the 7990 so hardware wise its really similar so much so that you can turn the 7990 into the firepro s10000 with a bios flash though it would still lack things like EEC memory. *

I understand your logic, but unfortunately it doesn't work like that.

Otherwise, why would you need server-specific motherboards, cpus and PSUs ... If it works fine with both cards installed, then as a temporary fix, why don't you purchase a really cheap GPU and see if it works and just keep your 3 cards in or something

Well these are Cheap gpus costume only £150 -180 each, for what was originally £3500 although you can pick them up for little under £1000 each now, so if I can get them working total bargain, since they work with the OC profile something screwy is going on with the motherboard as for server CPU's they have a different socket where as this GPU is pcie based and will fit any pcei full length slot. and server PSU are designed for rack mounts and multi GPU/CPU boards . We shall see what happened tomorrow as I have an asus hero VII arriving plus more of these server GPU's. But considering the wired behaviour of the motherboard I'm sure it's the issue. Unfortunately that's the risk with 2nd hand parts. I'll check with amd but looking at the Manual there is nothing special needed to get these to work. Though I'll contact amd now as well just to see.*
