Hello,
I haven't been here for quite some time, and I've been playing around with making a recovery environment for my Sony Xperia Z5 Compact - and realised that Windows basically was the same - so I thought I'd come back and try to get the 'OEM Recovery' stuff working on the G751 that I wiped during the 8.1 to 10 clean install.
There's also been a release this year from Intel to update the Chipset information for Windows.... Intel don't make the USB 3.0 driver anymore and have let Microsoft take control of that with it's in built USB 3 driver support. There was confusion very early on with Win10 and USB 3, so I just wanted to give another refresher.
Specifically for the G751:
4710 / 4870 CPU - Crystal Well
HM 87 - Lynx Point
MEI - HECI
The Intel Management Engine Interface has it's own download package.
I'm going to try and rebuild the Recovery Environment and Pre-Installation Environment - especially because I use the PCIe NVMe slot on my G751JY - and several major Windows updates have messed with my BCD.

I'll update with the progress on the Recovery for the G751JY too.
It'll bring back a Push button Reset/Refresh and also link the advanced boot options to be able to launch from the BIOS as well as the Windows Menu/Shutdown Page.

I managed to get my hands on a copy of Microsoft Server 2016, so I'm going to use that instead of a normal Pro or Education edition.
It looks basically the same install-wise.
I've updated the GitHub to have names for the drivers - but I'm just finding a more stable Wireless driver (18.33) - I'm not sure what's causing the drop outs - if it's to do with Firewall - or driver - haven't really looked because I've just been planning what's the best way to do this.
I'm just working my way through the list, and this is what I have so far
