G53sw clean install w7 - Unable to detect HDD

Hi,

I did a clean install windows 7 but the setup unable to detect my HDD? it prompts for drivers..I have tried Intel rapid storage technology drivers but no luck.

My setup: Momentus XT 500GB x2

Any advice? Thanks. 😄

Edit: The issue is due to USB 3.0 port. I use Windows 7 USB tools to make a bootable windows 7 and i plugged into usb 3.0 port but unable to detect my HDD it prompts for driver(momentus XT 500GB x2). But when i plugged into usb 2.0 port HDD is detected correctly. FYI. 😮

I got a similar message asking for the CDROM driver on Windows Setup. I thought this was interesting since I was using the drive to install from DVD! Turned out it was a bad burn. I redownloaded the ISO file (just in case there was something wrong with my initial download), and chose the slowest possible burn speed to resolve the issue.

Yeah, the Windows installer doesn't include a driver for the USB 3.0 port.
