EZ Update major error, please update ASUS

At the following address it indicates:

    https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards...Desk_Download/

EZUpdate ASUS EZ Update V2.03.16 that this is the latest version.

However on EZUpdate it states the following:

    https://pasteboard.co/GC9P7wg.png

When I update, it downloads, installs, says its done, when I open EZ update again though the update is still there.

I have update absolutely everything to the latest version on my PC as well as reinstalling.

So Asus please fix, because I actually want this to update when you do actually release a new version.

Does this mean this has been passed onto ASUS? I am 100% certain its not my computer creating a false version.

This is what most of us will ask:

did you try doing a full uninstall, using CCleaner to clean any remaining registry entries, then try reinstalling?

To be honest, if it's still showing the old version after installing the new one, I think it is still reading files from the old version from somewhere. Potentially the AppData or ProgramData folders.

Your previous post made me realise I had not been wiping the ProgramData on install.

What I did after uninstalling was delete that folder containing ASUS stuff completely.

Then before uninstalling I stopped all the services as indicated here: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...ht=Cleaner.exe

Basically it was multiple attempts of uninstalling and reinstalling about 10 times and it eventually worked. I don't have this issue anymore.
