HERO ALPHA Intel Chipset Driver update question

I tried to update Intel Chipset Driver from Hero Alpha's driver page https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-VIII-HERO-ALPHA/HelpDesk_Download/.

The latest version on the site is Version 10.1.1.44, my current Intel Chipset Driver version is 10.1.1.38.

The installation process was successful, but the driver version shows in Device Manager - System devices is still 10.1.1.38.

So I tried restart, reinstall the driver. Still on 10.1.1.38, not able to update to Version 10.1.1.44.

Anyone with Hero Alpha is able to update the Intel Chipset Driver to Version 10.1.1.44?
Any suggestion and advice will be appreciated. 🙂

Thanks for the reply.

I didn't use the -overall command.
From the link you provided, it states: Forcing the installation of a not required or already present Intel Chipset Device INF file (e.g. by using the " -overall" command) doesn't make any sense, but will blow up the user's registry and the Windows\inf folder with garbage (unused resp. unusable oemxx.inf files). Furthermore the forced installation of unusable drivers generally may overwrite actually in use other drivers and can cause degraded performance or a lack of features.

Same thing for me too.

According to the link we don't need chipset drivers then? Forcing the installer is a bad thing or not required. Does anyone have any knowledge about this?

Thanks for the help Akbaar.
For a unrelated question, do you mind upload a screen shoot shows Device manager->System device->Intel(R) 100 Series/C230 Series Chipset Family PMC - A121->Properties->Resources?

Mine shows "it has a problem":

My current Intel Chipset Driver shows driver version 10.1.1.38 too. In regedit it shows Version 10.1.1.44

For Windows 10 try:

regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
INTEL
IGFX
