G752VS best touch pad driver?

Darnassus
Status Under Review
So I had trouble with the touch pad on 8.1 but that was expected..

Though I didn't expect it to be on Win10..

Sometimes it doesn't want to load at reboot, really frustrating, it's also a little jerky, and can't find the 'Anti Palm' function... or the 'Pause Mouse Click while Typing' option.. :f

So.. as before, I lose scrolling, right click, etc.. basically Smart Gesture is lost again.

Smart Gesture - Make sure Windows doesn't go rogue and try and install the ELAN touchpad.

Uninstall ELAN if it's appearing, then block it using WUSHOWHIDE.cab

Still looking for best touch pad driver.. keeps dropping Asus Smart Gestures until reboot.. :f

Hi,
maybe u need a Asus Touchpad Firmware Update. I have postet a Thread about this Problem but a clever Member mean it would be a Virus .
You can decide for yourself but it was my solution.

Okay did more testing..

Here's what happens.

When I shut down, and boot up. The driver is lost.

However, if I RESTART I get the driver working.

If I shut down, then start back up, the driver is lost.

So the only way I seem to be getting my driver is if I RESTART only.

Possible Solution.

Seems Fast Boot was breaking it.. will test for a while.

Hello Bill@ASUS.

There is no ASUS Smart Gesture driver available for the G752VS for Windows 10 64 But. The only touchpad driver for the G752VS is this:

ASUS Precision Touchpad
Version* V11.0.10.02
2016/06/14* update

My issue with this driver is similar to Darnassus. I use an external mouse so I want the touchpad to be disabled. I have it set to be disabled but for the driver to function correctly, I cannot let my G752VS sleep. I must shut down when I am done using it or just leave it on all the time. If I let it go to sleep, then the touchpad is enabled even though it is set to be disabled.

Sorry for the trouble. I would suggest you reinstall the ATK & TouchPad drivers and try again.

Hello OnePiece@ASUS.

Thanks for the tip but have already tried that many times with no change in the behaviour.
