Unlike many of you, I don't have any extraordinary hardware.

My IX Hero, I7 7700K, 16 GB Crucial 2400 Mhz and ordinary sata SSD are running fine with 1009 BIOS. Currently not overclocking and my Ram's XMP profile is running without any problems.

Check the bios on m2_2 x2 or x4 ... It should be on X2, it does not save on x4 when you reboot.

    Working

Having just installed this Bios I can say that it is better for me as 0906 and 1004 did not boot on my Z270H with XMP enabled and I never found the right SA and VCCIO voltage to make this work properly.

This BIOS has booted OK having now entered all my overclock and XMP profile. Still need to run stress test but all seems OK for now. Thanks for sorting!

This is not new for 1009, but the BIOS is still storing one too many boot devices in the boot order.

I have 1 M.2 NVME boot drive, 2 SATA drives, and quite a few USB drives. Only the M.2 is bootable.

If I empty/delete the boot order and then save and reboot, the BIOS adds a random drive to the boot order (usually a non-bootable drive). If I delete all but one boot entry, it adds a second random boot device. If I delete all but 2 devices (my normal state), it adds a 3rd device.

No matter how many times I delete the last in the order and save, BIOS adds it back again.

Other than that 1009 is running fine.

in regain the read speeds. activating the pcx3 on some areas, change to achi and other and is working . but until i receive the cooler for the nmve i will know since after check write speeds are very low cause maybe temps.
