ASUS FX553VE-DM227 overheating?

Hi guys,

I just bought a brand new ASUS FX553VE-DM227 last July 9, 2017 and noticed that my CPU temp reaches as high as 88 degrees Celsius while my GPU only gets as high as 80 degrees while gaming. Is this even normal for this laptop? I have been only using this for a month.

During stress test and gaming (GTA V on High Settings, not sure on other games though) I can also see a lot of thermal throttling on both Intel XTU and Aida 64

SPECS:

-I5 7300HQ
-GTX 1050ti (2gb)
-8gb RAM
-1TB HDD
-No SSD
-Win 10

attached are screenshots for your reference.

Thank you

I just got my laptop from the Service Center. They did re-pasted but the temps are still the same, what's worse is the now my GPU hits around 85 Deg. Celcius, Before i return my laptop, it only peaks at around 80, now it reaches 85.

Their solution? I buy IC diamond and have them apply it to my laptop and maybe the temps will go down. wow.
