Worked great for three days then blue screen ,more updates, more blue screens.Got to a point where you couldnt do anything because blue screen would jump out.
So i decided to re install windows.
Since trying to do that is the problem. Get to bios no problem it just wont instal windows.. Ive tried dvd ,usb stick. Even tried booting from ex drive. Just keeps going to blue error screen. Removed everything apart from cpu and cooler .the same. Onboard LED show ok. One stick memory at a time.. Think ive said it correct.. Any help would be appreciated. Also done many CMOS and removed battery

Hi rjsaint

Clear the Cmos again for good measure.

In the bios on the boot tab try disabling CSM and set secure boot to Other Os then try installing windows, be sure to do a UEFI install.

If it blue screens tell us the error it's giving.

Thanks to start with.
Tried that and it went back to bios..codes went 99,A2,66,A2,AD,AE then A9 back at bios.
If i dont do UEFI instal it will try to load but ends with AE then A0 with blue screen code on there Fbwf.sys..
so far about 17 different blue screens.. Thanks again Nate152

It sounds like it's not detecting windows or wanting to install.

I don't have an M.2 drive but I'm pretty sure windows 10 should load the 960 EVO driver, if there's an option for this at the beginning of the installation select it.

Also make sure you have the M.2 slot configured to x4, sata mode selection for me is AHCI, yours may be NVMe.

I will give it ago...

What is the BSOD windows error message? Did you try each stick of memory by itself and in different slots?

Do you have another drive that you can temporarily install Windows on?

550W PSU should be enough wattage, but it could be borderline.

Yep tried one stick at a time in each slot..
tried a different drive normal ssd.
even tried from bootable drive.
bsod ...up to now 16 different ones. FROM IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL TO SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION..

Remove the CPU cooler and check the socket for bent or broken pins?
