Asus Maximus IX Apex and G.Skill Memory (Trident Z, DDR4 3200, 32GB)
Does anyone have firsthand experience using the Asus Maximus IX Apex with G.Skill Trident Z memory?
The model number of the memory is: F4-3200C14D-32GTZ
I am looking to buy the memory. I checked G.Skill's website and the motherboard is not on the memory's QVL list. I know the memory will function, but I am worried it will not perform at full speed.
If anyone knows, I'd appreciate it.
The rest of the specs are:
Intel I7-7700K
Asus Gerforce GTX 1080 TI OC
Samsung 850 EVO 256GB
Samsung 850 PRO 250 GBLast edited by JasonG; 08-20-2017 at 07:04 PM.

Hi JasonG
It will work, you may need to set it manually and tweak the cpu vccio and cpu system and voltages to get it stable.
With the i7-7700k it should be no problem.
