Running "stress -cpu 32" for a 10 minutes I see I jump to about 51-52C and hold there with the NH-U14S.

    How about memory clearance?

The NH-U14S TR4-SP3 on some other TR4 motherboards blocks the first memory slot next to the fan location, but since the Zenith does have extra lateral tolerance, I was wondering if this is an issue with the Zenith as well.

I am asking because I need to populate all 8 slots.

Can someone who has a NH-U14S TR4-SP3 take a picture or check to see if the fan overtakes the first slot next to it? I tried finding examples on the web but... no joy. None shows the right angle.

    TY

The U14S does render the first PCI-E slot unusable but doesn't block the memory slots at all. With a second fan on it it should still be ok as you can move the fans up a little to clear close heat spreaders. I'll take a pic when mine is up and running.

Took a couple of snaps showing the clearance for memory modules when using the NH-U14S TR4/SP3 cooler. Its a tight fit for the nearest slot, but it does not interfere with it.

I believe it will be tough to get all eight sticks in. The clearance on the LEFT side is almost non-existent (so the picture posted above is not enough to verify it).

Note that the Noctua is AWESOME which is why I may still keep it. I get 29C when the ambient is around 68C in the room and it never goes above 31-32C at idle (I'm using it with two fans in a push-pull topology). It is SILENT too.

Only using one fan on the heatsink, seems to be more than ennough. But feel free to post a picture from the left side too.
