I'm just adding this to the record, so later when Microsoft Technicians try to make up some sorry ass excuse, I can just slap them down again
(no one really needs to worry about this - unless you're doing clean installs or system resets with all drive bays in use)
(the default windows install unattended file will ALWAYS default to disk 0 - too bad so sad if the NVMe drive is enumerated incorrectly right?)
This is what you all say to Microsoft Tech in chat
B**ch please, I had the correct configuration to begin with... so why in the hell would you want to enumerate and identify disks like that? Give me a way to identify disks by hardware ID, so Windows can reset and Update correctly. I don't want it installed on a slow secondary drive. If you can't fix it, then give me compensation or Escalate this support session, and put me through to someone who knows what they are doing.
Here... for your entertainment

I've made a way to put the Windows 10 installer with latest 2017-09 Security patches, and 2017 driver set onto a DVD with 300MB to spare.
2.3GB Windows, 150MB PE & 1.5GB Update & Driver Deployment Share.<img src="eckyeckypoobah.gif" onerror="alert('An error occurred loading the image.')" />

Got around to testing the Hardware RAID vs AHCI Raid on non SSD - I used 2x HGST 1TB 7200RPM drive.
There was no detrimental effect on SSDs in Samsung Magician - and temps are running fine- haven't seen the NVME go above 40 degrees C.
Windows will also see the RAID Array as a single disk , in Disk Management, compared to 2 dynamic Disks.

Comparison to September just before I switched the OS and BIOS from AHCI to RAID.
