Any plans for ROG sound card with Aura Sync

Hi Asus,

do you have any plans for a nice ROG sound card with Aura Sync support, similar to the Creative Sound Blaster X AE-5?

Best regards

Currently there are no plans. That being said, plans can change when there is demand.

Which Aura Sync products do you wish to match it with?

My system looks like this:

- ASUS ROG Maximus IX Hero
- ASUS ROG Claymore
- ASUS ROG Gladius II
- Deepcool Captain 240 EX RGB
- 4x G.Skill Trident Z RGB
- 3x MasterFan Pro 120 Air Balance RGB
- RGB Stripe
- Creative SoundBlaster Z 😞

So the entire PC is AURA compatible, but not the Creative. Just red. The Sound BlasterX AE-5 supports RGB, but not AURA.
So there is currently no option to make a full AURA build with dedicated good sound. Either you stick with onboard, external USB sound card or a non-LED internal.

So why not a STRIX SOAR with Aura Sync? 🙂 You even have laptops, monitors and headsets with Aura Sync, but not a single sound card...

Best regards

Maybe it would be wise to first fix Aura basic issues before adding new potentially bug prone devices. Just saying.

ROFL 😄

No seriously, those damn bright red leds on the Sound Blaster Z drove me crazy too, screwing up my all blue ROG setup.
Take the card out, open it up, take a wirecutter en cut those red suckers off the sound blaster. At least thats what i did 😉

Any update on this from ASUS? Now even Aura Sync external HDD is available, so why no sound card?

Thanks for expressing an interest, please post here if anyone else is interested. If there is great demand, I'll definitely let the audio team know.

why master@asus sound card drivers are becoming EOL since Asus xonar Phoebus which is very good card without any design flaw the driver and card are now EOL stage and even the newly released ASUS STRIX RAID DLX driver support is worst case scenario
