Maximus Hero Alpha - Connecting to 5ghz Wifi crashes driver

Is anyone out there experiencing the wireless adapter completely fails when connecting to a 5ghz source? Works just fine with wireless N but any AC connection the adapter restarts itself refusing to connect to AC.

Can you tell me when did you start experiencing this issue?
Have you tried updating or reinstalling drivers?
Does it happen to every 5Ghz sources?

Hi Bill. I went ahead and attached the series of windows system event log during a connection attempt to 5ghz network. I was connecting just fine until updating to 3504 and wifi drivers. Now even trying to go back to previous drivers also do not work. I hope the event logs show or hint to the issue for you.

UPDATE: Finally found a driver that will actually work with the 5ghz band. Driver date 9/18/2015 version 12.0.0.149. Any other driver other than this one will refuse to connect to 5ghz networks.

This is solved. Had two new neighbors recently and turned out they were running the same Wifi channel. I ended up changing the channel and ac works fine again.
