    Hi execute

Welcome to the ROG forum !

It's normal for the gpu to downclock when not under load, when playing a game clock speeds should boost up as GPU Tweak II is showing.

Your gpu looks to be working normally.

    It won't die on you.

You can overclock it to the max for a gain of about 10 FPS.

If you'd like to overclock it here is a guide you can follow.

Ok, just thought I'd mention it. It's easy to do with GPU Tweak II if you'd like to try it.
