I have the G74SX laptop that came together with a the ASUS Laser Gaming Mouse GX800 and the problem Ihave is that when I use the mouse wheel i get a disconnect sound (like the mouse is disconnected) and then a connect sound, which enables me to use the mouse again, any solutions for this problem guys?

Yes I have installed the drivers still the problem remains...

Have you disabled the touchpad with Fn-F9, or configured the touchpad driver to automatically disable when a USB mouse is detected?

Yes I disabled the touchpad but still no luck, the mouse wheel is still problematic.

Is the behavior different if you use a different USB port?

Does the behavior change if you install the mouse on a different computer?
