Formula IX m.2 problems

Hi guys!

I have this weird problem with my m.2 drive (samsung evo 960), I installed it in socket A (M.2_1) 67016

So my problem is that I set the bandwidth to 4x but it reverts to 2x on boot.
but my crystaldiskmark score is quite similar to what a 4x would do:
67017

And the samsung Magician states that it is 4x but the bios setting is 2x so this is a bit weird
67018

Any ideas on how I can get the BIOS settings to stick, or am I just being stupid and the socket doesn't support 4x.

Sata mode conf. : AHCI

Thanks for your time.

It wasn't that complicated after all the m.2_1 socket has the settings sata/pcie and I was trying to configure the empty m.2_2 socket to 4x.

well that was 2 hour well spent 😛 thanks tho

I did experience that also on my heroIX, what i did was use the one M2_1 first select PCIe save. then CSM OFF. so it can use the samsung driver. Go back and check that is selected. just in case.
