    Driver Date is still 24-11-2016

    Driver is 1 Year old

Rocketmail is correct about the Phoebus. It has entered End Of Life and so will not get new dolby digital live enabled drivers going ahead. It does still seem to be supported by new sonic studio driver releases which is something. As for concern over the driver date I believe that refers to the c-media driver release. C-media drivers can be thought of as 'reference' drivers for the Strix line the way gpu chip makers used to release reference drivers to the video card manufacturers. Asus then tweaks them as best they can to make them work better/add features.
