    No Boot Post Code 00

    Hi Everyone,

So this morning I woke up to my Threadripper build not wanting to Post. It has been working fine over the last few weeks without any major issues. I have had some memory issues when trying to boot, but I would just go into BIOS and restart from there and it would not be an issue. Today I get the POST 00: Detecting Memory and that is as far as it gets. My system was in Sleep when this happened, not sure if that matters. So far I have tried the following with no luck:

    1. Flashing Bios
    2. Clearing CMOS. (I am trying a 12 hour clear as suggested in another post tonight)
    3. Safe Boot Button
    4. Multiple memory configurations in just about every slot
    5. Pulled the CPU to inspect for damage to CPU and bent pins. None found.
    6. Tried getting the system to boot with only motherboard, CPU, and 1 stick of memory. No Luck.

At this point, I am out of ideas. I am guessing that I am looking at either a motherboard failure or a CPU failure. Anyone have any ideas before I start the RMA process? Thanks for the help!

Ouch! Very nice build too. As you say, qcode 00 comes from bad CPU, memory or BIOS chip. Can you get into UEFI BIOS? IF so, it might at least rule out a defective BIOS chip.
