OLED displays 72C on CPU

For some reason the OLED on the Zenith Extreme shows 72C on the CPU. That's not true, CAM shows 40-ish C at the moment.

This happened after messing around with USB Drivers (which are still broken) and installing CAM (which is also completely broken).

Please tell me how I can fix this. I've had hundreds of issues with this new garbage PC and I'm not too happy as you can imagine.

try installing this, if you have not already done it:

The OLED for me is showing CPU temperature same as CPU Sensor under Asus Zenith Extreme heading in HWiNFO, link to screenshot (I use Sense MI Skew: Disabled).

This monitoring value is from Super IO Chip (ITE IT8665E). I believe some skewing, etc goes on with this value. To me (currently) it does not seem indicative of real CPU sensor.

Ryzen had ~20 sensors for temps on die, so tCTL was highest value and some rotating going on. TR shows tCTL as per CPU node in HWINFO, CPU Sensor value does not seem an average of tCTL or tDIE.

I'm just ignoring CPU Sensor / OLED temp sensor read for now. Hopefully as time goes accuracy will improve with newer UEFI.

Bumping this to say using OLED/AURA FW V1.00.13 and UEFI 0603 the OLED is showing CPU temperature with the 27°C offset removed .

I've had good luck with 9910 for accurate temp, and therefore accurate fan speeds

Cool 🙂 .

0603 is latest UEFI, so there will be more fixes, etc. Personally I'd opt to use latest 🙂 , what others use is their choice and I respect that 🙂 . Quite liking how OLED temps is now matching tDIE in HWiNFO 🙂 .

1) You can assign whatever temp sensors AI Suite presents. I'm trying to add more to the pool via WMI, but that's an ongoing battle to open things up.

So in the end, was it implemented through WMI?
