Zephyrus - trackpad stopped working

I've recently bought a Zephyrus, and when setting it up on the first day I had it, I had a BSOD. At the time, I was installing Bash on Ubuntu on Windows, and also had ROG Gaming Center open at the time.

When I rebooted, I was unable to use the trackpad/numpad.

I reinstalled the trackpad drivers that I found on the Asus website in the hope that this would fix it.

I am now in the situation where it works fine before I log in, but as soon as I have logged in the trackpad is completely inoperative, and the trackpad/numpad button does nothing.

Any ideas for what might have cause this and how I can fix it? I'm permanently running on a separate mouse at the moment, but would like to be able to use the trackpad.

Thanks

With the help of ASUS support, this issue has been solved.

For me, it was a matter of re-installing the chipset driver from here:
