Leak test done and a new GPU and CPU loop. On the GPU i switched things up because I didn't want the tubing to block the Asus Eye of the motherboard. On the CPU side I realized if I put the fitting for the return to reservoir on the top, I would never be able to fill it past the two ports at the top. Of course then I stripped the left port and had to go with the right side. Oops.

I'm a little concerned with the amount of weight on the GPU with the fittings. I tried using the support bracket provided with the Rampage 6 Extreme but it doesn't quite fit with my EK waterblock. Do you all think I really need to worry about this or do you think i should invest in one of those poles that supports GPUS?

** EDIT ** I'm an idiot. Completely forgot that the EK monoblock requires the inlet port on the right. OOPs.
Corrected and leak test commencing again.

So I've had some time over the today to re-do the PETG tubing and make the PSU shroud, I am pretty happy with the way this looks now.

    Then a few arty ones

    Very sweet build there!!

I've finished building mine. I slapped in some RGB lights but I haven't figured out where I want to put them. This case is so large that I'm not sure where I'm going to put them where they can actually light up something...radiators always seem to be in the way. Anyway here is a few pix. Love this case.

I did some minor overclocking and was able to get a steady 4.9 Ghz on 1.25v. I was able to boot and run Aida 64 on 5.0 but it died in cinebench and asus realbench.

Sorry about the poor pictures, it is late and it has been a long day. I hope to get some better ones once everything is finalized.

See you took my advice on the left res/pump for the GPU and the right for the CPU.
I wouldn't worry about the fittings, They don't add as much weight as the heat sinks or WC block.

You will probably redo the tubing coming off the GPU going back down to the rad. I would have run it straight back across with the inlet then down.

I did take the GPU to RAD tube to run parallel but I had the fittings different and they ran straight across the Asus eye blocking it from view. I ran it the way I did because at the time, I hadn't put any of my hard drives. I had expected to put them in the basement but the radiator and drain port interfered with it. There was a giant open space under the motherboard that just was a void space so I made this run. In the end when I go hard tubing I'll revisit it.

Interesting thing about the build, I am so very proud of the GPU loop. It fills so easily and you open up the drain and 90% of the water comes out without having to touch the machine. That is a first. The CPU loop is a bit more finicky to fill as the fluid has to go up through to rads to get to the CPU. I have to do many start/stops and of course when I stop the pump, water drains back into the reservoir so i have to pour quickly!!

Thanks for the help. I'm very happy with it.

It looks like with the VROCSTANMOD key you can do that per Intel's website. And this MB lists it has a VROC key connector to plug this key in. Two questions:

    1) I cannot find any site that sells the VROCSTANMOD. Does anyone know where I can buy it?
    2) One of the part#s listed on Intel's site the VROCSTANMOD enables from Samsung is Samsung PM961. Has anyone tested the retail Samsung 960 Pro and will it work?

I have done a ton of research and the whole thing seems like vaporware except using Intel SSDs (which have bad reviews and a weak substandard controller on the chip which has a very limited total write capability) in RAID 0. Why the MB would have the VROC Key connector, Intel would list the part as released but there is no where to buy it seems absurd. I know in the past Intel sold this kind of tech to companies that sell servers and workstations and you could buy the keys on eBay but no luck on this with that part# although I read somewhere any Intel RAID key would work, but I have doubts on that. I just am itching to get this kind of rig setup for my work to run lots of VMs using the Intel 7980XE chip (which I have some concern with using 128 GB memory from my research) and 128GB memory. Unfortunately ASUS didn't make a workstation class MB this time around like I have on my X99. So frustrated on this particular issue and the fact the MBs are so hard to get right now. Grrr!
just go to this thread and read all eleven pages: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...OC-KEY-for-R6E it will be a lot easier than the two explain it all again.

I did have a couple leaks actually. I'm using older fittings and a few needed their o-rings changed out and I had one fitting outright fail with the red dye in. Luckily i already had towels down and was able to drain the loop rather quickly once I spotted it. Towel will remain for a few days and then be gone.
