MG278Q Apparent Color Depth Problems
Hi,
I've recently purchased the 144 Hz, 2K, TN, MG278Q from ASUS Gaming. It's really cool and the refresh rate (up from 60 Hz) is quite stunning, but I have a problem with color accuracy. It seems that some gradients in pictures are not very well represented.
Here's an example: https://rog.asus.com/media/1499783496777.png (the forum is giving me an error when trying to post it in HTML format) and this is how I see it: https://photos.app.goo.gl/0AqdK7jRd7iYwNdp1
Please enlighten me on this issue since the monitor itself is 8-bit.Last edited by AlexTheRepublican; 09-21-2017 at 03:39 PM. Reason: Wrong picture x)
