Plus another question. Using only NVMe single drive. Are the SATA drivers even necessary??

Can't speak for the Rampage motherboards. But I didn't need to install the two drivers you mentioned on my Strix X299 when I installed Windows 10.

Running 3 NVME here. When I finished the transition to NVME I simply turned off the Sata ports in bios. No ports, faster post, no driver loading.

Yea. Decided to install the driver in case I add something later, but that’s a good idea. Thanks.*

You can install USB 3.1 driver from Asus by running Windows device manager and manually updating the driver for "ASMedia USB3.1 eXtensible Host Controller". Choose to search for the driver and point to "Driver_Win10" folder from the Asus package.
Intel driver is still no go though.

    Still more errors

    I contacted ASUS support
They said sorry but the driver appears to be the win7 version . We have uplaoded new one .. Please wait 24 hours for it to upload to server
I waited.. Downloaded new version from Rampage support page. SAME DEAL. This driver does not support this OS !!

I had even reinstalled windows in the hope that it may be intial install. Still no fixes

Tried both the upper and lower USB 3.1 connection on board.. NEither worked.

Asus emailed me after I pointed out this still did not work. They have recommended sending the board back .. grrrrrrrrrr

Did you get an exchanged board and is it working now?

I have the same Problem with my X299 - neither the Intel nor the Asmedia Driver are working...

I also have issues, that USB 3.0 devices are not recognised...evenso I have manually updated drivers via device manager when my system is in OC (XMP settings from RAM). If everything on stock, it works - how can this be? Is it a Motherboard issue and do I have to send it back? grrrrrrr

So did you get an exchanged mb and did this solve the problems?

    Thx for your Reply.

Anyone other having the same Problems?

--> my BCLK was at 101.800 and caused the problem --> when setting it to 100.00 let's my USB 3.0 again working??? I do not understand...
