Hi guys,
Before doing an RMA try setting a fan curve or setting the fans manually to 100% and see where that puts temps, my Strix 1070 runs 62c at full load with the fans at 100%.

Thanks for chipping in Nate, yeah on 100% my GPU goes up as i mentioned in the previous post.
Just to update, i dont want anybody else stumble upon this thread having the same issue with my GPU to hit the panic button. I initially thought to RMA the GPU but after going to the shop i purchased it from they and a Asus Rep decided to test it with their Rig. To my suprise, it didnt behave as it did with my PC and it was behaving exactly as when i first purchased it. Which is weird because this temp spike issue happens suddenly without me changing a single thing in my PC. So i decided to upgrade my stock NZXT fans to Coolermaster masterpro 120 & 140 airflow as exhaust to see if that made any difference. It did, lowering by 5° - 8°c, now its behaving as normal when i first got it and slightly better. Possibly my stock fans could have gone bad. Anyways, after reporting back to them, they told me to keep monitoring the temp and since the warranty is 2 years i still could RMA it if the problem still persist.
On a side note, i did bump into another dude which his 980 ti was having issue, since Asus did not have the spare parts for the said GPU, they decided to 'upgrade' the fella's GPU to '1080 Ti' FOC! awesome. Guess Asus stepped up their game lol. Good to know that i made a good decision in Purchasing Asus product, that gave me more peace of mind about my product.
So yeah thanks again Panzlock for the help. So guys, dont panic just yet whenever you come into any situation with your product. Have a good day.

Yes it appears so, which is weird because the fan was working according to HWmon and AIsuite. But changing it made a difference, so its either the fan somehow manage to decrease its performance without showing any sign of physical defect or my GPU hardware increased its temp somehow. Extra CFM made the difference from 43cfm x 2 (Stock Fan) to 100+/83cfm (Coolermaster), which is why they asked me to continue monitoring it just in case.
